What a night?!
Our Chairman was interupted by Lady Gaga, or more correctly a local singer with an amazing voice called Lady Gargar while the MC could do no more than the guests, sit back and enjoy the show. There were awards for students nominated by each of the regions education establishments with building services courses, a delicious meal, conversation and possibly the odd glass of wine before hearing from Perry McCarthy, the Original Stig.
Perry shared anecdotes and stories from his time as a racing driver and while he was working on Top Gear as well as hosting a question and answer session where he shared his favourite car, least favourite (a suprise to me!), his thoughts on the best F1 drivers and the future superstars of the sport.
