GreenBIM at Design and Preconstruction (in partnership with CIBSE and GreenVision)

This conference pairs two revolutionary movements of Green Building and BIM to create environmentally friendly design through a streamlined process. This knowledge packed afternoon will discuss practical strategies, techniques, and real-life case studies of projects and how BIM can be used to optimise design in order to achieve better environmental outcomes for buildings and their occupants.
This not-to-be-missed event will offer presentations, workshops, quick fire Pecha Kuchas and the opportunity to network over great food and a pint of Yorkshire real ale.
We are pleased to announce our keynotes as follows:-
James Anwyl, Director - EUROBUILD
James designed and delivered the first certified Passivhaus educational building in the UK at Hadlow College. This was shortlisted for BUILDING's Sustainable Project of the Year 2010 and won Environmental Project of the Year 2011 in the Construction Computing awards for innovative and comprehensive use of BIM. James was also awarded the Happold Scholarship in 2009 for his design and research for one of the first Code Level 6 Sustainable Homes. A trained assessor in the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP) he is also a beta tester and advisor to Graphisoft on the development of building performance software and BIM.
Richard Lane, UK BIM Task Grou
Richard is the Training Development Officer & Implementation Project Manager for the UK BIM Task Group and Director of Creonova Consulting Ltd. He is leading the development of the UK BIM Task Group training strategy & solution and is supporting the implementation of BIM in a number of UK government departments including the Ministry of Defence and NHS. With 25 years' experience in IT consulting, project management (ISEB) and training, leading global teams; Richard is a Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institute and a Professional Member of the British Computer Society. As Director of Creonova Consulting, Richard provides consulting, program & project management, change management and training services to education, public sector and commercial organisations, specifically focusing on technology and construction sectors.
