Young Engineers Biomass seminar

Biomass Boiler Seminar

CIBSE YE Yorkshire is holding their first technical seminar of the year on Thursday 9th February 2012 at Leeds Metropolitan University

The seminar will be provided by George Fletcher from Viessmann and will cover the following areas:

• Introduction to Biomass Boilers

• Biomass Boiler Operation and how it integrates with the overall LTHW system

• Correct Sizing of Accumulator Tanks

• Ensuring the biomass system design covers the buildings base load or more

• Questions and Answers

The seminar will be held in Lecture Theatre LTB1, arrive at 18:00 for a 18:30 start

Tea, Coffee and Biscuits will be available on arrival

The presentation gave a grass routes insight into how Biomass boilers should be connected into systems with some very detailed best practice schematics. In addition some good advice given on sizing of buffer vessels.

All in all an excellent and concise presentation by George.
